Number of science research agencies now saying Betelgeuse will go supernova in a matter of decades. :science: Looking now for resources on this one...found this:

The paper is a pre-print. Definitely interesting, but not yet peer reviewed. There are definitely reasons to be skeptical that Betelgeuse's death is imminent.
