Re: Disaster Movies
I prefer Independence Day. Mostly because I prefer the conflict against the aliens rather than the conflict versus nature. I also think ID has the better cast, better action sequences, and better dialogue. Independence Day has its problems but it's still a fun movie.

I gather I was right in saying there was nothing that worthwhile in San Andreas?

Re: Disaster Movies
Haven't seen it but I would recommend Skyscraper from around the same time.

Re: Disaster Movies
The kids were less annoying than other children in the same "trying to get somewhere specific during a disaster" scenario than in other movies. Also there was the fun of driving a speed boat through the streets of the city - so there's that.atomictrivia wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 5:03 am I gather I was right in saying there was nothing that worthwhile in San Andreas?

I'm in love with Greenland. I think it depicted how people would react in the situation.

Re: Disaster Movies
I haven't seen this, but I'm going to take a guess that this is completely literal. Moon...fall. And there ya go: your plot.
