Fun with Flags

I have become known around the neighborhood as the guy with the funny flags on his house...shocking, I know, right? Decided to go back to that since I've been home so much lately.

Most recently I had the Italian peace flag up, which you can see here. I briefly wondered if our neighbors would interpret it as a rainbow flag, to which [mention]CrazyCraftLady[/mention] responded that she wanted to put our actual rainbow flag up and remove all doubt. I wasn't concerned they would say anything, but that they wouldn't understand that it was a peace flag. (Well, I wasn't too concerned, anyway; I'm certain that I'm more progressive than most of my neighbors, though they in turn would be more progressive than...I guess most people in this country. Welcome to suburban Maryland!)

I think the next flag that goes up will be Barbados - although we're supposed to get rain and thunderstorms later today after 3pm (according to the weather widget on my calendar spreadsheet). I'm willing to take other suggestions, though.

Also on the subject: I'm looking at the upgrade to the flags extension on here. Right now, the upgrade process would eliminate all of the custom flags I have put on, so I've written to the developer asking what the best way to save the changes I've made would be. So, no timetable on that yet.
