Apropos of nothing, really, here is a new flag.
Essentially, this is a variant of the New England flag, with a blue field (most commonly, New England has a red field, but sometimes uses blue). I've also replaced the pine tree with a white oak, and made it all green - there's some artifacting there because I'm not that good with GIMP.
This represents a merger of New England and Mid-Atlantic state symbols. The oak is a symbol of strength, stability, unity, and endurance. A blue field was chosen as these are "blue states".
I suspect the current fascist regime will revert to one of the Confederate flags should they leave us (again). If we are forced to leave instead, we (at least the eastern states) now have a flag to carry, if we want it. #California and #Cascadia have theirs.
