Which do you envision when you think of an apple?
A lot of work is being done recently discovering how we imagine things. The differences are startling for a lot people (including me). Personally, I think I am more of a number 2. I see things roughly illustrated. As I was telling a story earlier today, I saw the story in my head almost like an animated storyboard.
For those curious, the story was this:
When I was newly returned to Maryland from New Jersey, I worked for a political campaign. When I was knocking on doors in a cul de sac, nobody was coming to their door. This is par for the course. At one house, I rang the doorbell. No answer. I dropped some literature and moved on to the next house. I rang the doorbell and suddenly a big dog launched itself through the front window right next to the front door. The next thing I remember was being a block away, doubled over, and trying to catch my breath.
