Looks like trains and tracks aren't the only things that catch fire in DC's Metro. :science: From yesterday, at about 8pm:
At 12:05, the Station manager at Union Station reported a smoking escalator, which involved MTPD + FD dispatch. #WMATA trains were held temporarily while the escalator unit was turned off and stopped smoking. twitter.com/Metrorailinfo/…
