Disgusting. They know what they did and they are trying to get away with it yet again. Another stain on Baltimore.

Likely they get away with it. As the article states, they will still have to pay out to victims as directed by a bankruptcy judge but this prevents any new lawsuits and allows them to shuffle around assets to lessen the impact on their bottom line. I'm not super versed on bankruptcy laws but they should not be able to fully wipe away the damages they owe.
