UNSTOPPABLE

Post by scooter »

Guilty admission: I absolutely love car chase and car crash movies. I still remember fondly the first time I saw Vanishing Point on TV. I had to have been, what, 10?

So seeing this was basically the equivalent of vehicular pr0n. I mean, I did not count the sheer amount of carnage here (carnage? sorry) but it is exceptional even for the fact that this is all it was designed for. The channel does a lot of these, and they are a combination laugh riot and heart rate spiker. There is basically no real plot for any of these, which is fine, and they still manage to have more plot (and realism!) than, say, the F&F franchise.

I think @KikisIslandLife may enjoy this one, too, given her predilection for disaster movies. :thumb:

The medium, btw, is BeamNG.Drive, which is an automotive simulator which can be set for an impressive degree of realism. (Check out this channel, which is simulated car crashes; it perfectly gives you the scenarios that result in that "what happened here?" feeling you get when encountering the aftermath of a multiple car accident.)
