In the same vein as the false alert of 1971...





There are so many things wrong in this scenario. For one, WOWO was one of the few stations in the entire country which acted according to the actual rules and responded to the "real thing" in the correct way. (Another was WCCO in Minneapolis.) Not to mention the confusion, the desperate tone, and the utter creepiness of the whole incident.
