The Casual Criminalist

Post by scooter »

:plug: One of the good true crime podcasts out there...this is hosted by Simon Whistler, the host of a bewilderingly large number of channels on YT. Excellent and engaging voice actor even given the amusingly tough time he has with some place names ("Yerba Buena" in the last episode; "Hialeah" the time before that). The scripts are all cold-read and peppered with amusing asides from Simon, which punctures the deadly serious reads many such podcasts use (My Favorite Murder being an obvious exception). Maybe half of these cases are novel - not the sort you hear about on other shows. Lots of fun...I mean, given that these are almost always about violent crimes.
This has been another brain dribble from...
