What is your most memorable birthday cake?

Post by ZandraJoi »

This would be many years ago! Had a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting & those Care Bears sugar coated cake decorations. Of course, I picked off those decorations first. Then couldn't waste the frosting that was on the candles lol So, what was yours?

I'm torn between two.

When I was 13 I had a purple frosted birthday cake with a unicorn on it. Of course, some genius decided to put those joke 'can't blow it out' candles, so it ended up being doused with root beer...

When I turned 40 (I think?) I decided to bake myself a black forest cake for my birthday. It was a great project (and took most of a week, all told).

Not a cake but my brother spilled his drink on my fajita at Hard Rock Cafe one time.

That was a really good cake.

It was, and I can't remember how many people told me it wasn't fair for me to have to bake it myself. I think they must have been aliens!
