I don't think so. The "thanks" function is an extension. I'm not sure it will translate in Tapatalk.

I'm also not entirely sure what "gift" is.

An update on how the testing is going:

Known issues thus far:
  1. Some follow-up posts from Tapatalk do not include subject headers; this is causing links within those posts to fail
  2. No availability for Amazon Play Store
  3. No way to "thanks" posts from Tapatalk; "gift" option is something related to Tapatalk and not the Forums
Notifications seem to be working as advertised; they will require that the user sets them up in his or her User Control Panel

I guess the next question is, do we want to do a full rollout or go back to the drawing board? I have noticed that at least for @CrazyCraftLady it's lowered the barrier to reading and posting.

I think it works well enough. For me, I'm more likely to see a notification from tapatalk and jump on the board itself if I want to engage in a bigger way. If it's a short response, I can use my phone.

It’s a little trickier to jump into a thread at the first unread post than on desktop though.

Couple of others:

4. Finding first unread message in a thread is a challenge.
5. Ads are annoying.

Anything else?

Okay, that's interesting. Sending to a thread I was following caused me to show up in the "Who is Online" list at the bottom of the index page. I hadn't been there before.

Again, not a showstopper but worth noting.
