Are you looking for horror or camp or anything goes?
I mean, it should be horror but it can definitely be campy/funny. I'm thinking of adding Host which is the new Zoom horror. When is that going to be more topical?

Well - I'm personally out of ideas but here are some thoughts from the internet...

https://www.complex.com/pop-culture/201 ... e-movies/1

https://screenrant.com/best-underrated-vampire-films/ ( I like screen rant's opinions generally)

https://screenrant.com/underrated-vampi ... halloween/ (This once has Only Lovers Left Alive listed which I watch just for Tom Hiddleston - I liked it - thanks for reminding me)

Thanks! I had not heard of some of these, others I have seen. Only Lovers Left Alive is the kind of movie I would save for not Halloween.

A vampire movie for all seasons and all that.

In other news, I'm still shocked yet amused that I found three separate movies about a pizza delivery person's descent into horror.

Pizza

Slice (Starring and made by Chance the Rapper)

Satanic Panic

"Oh Gosh! The Pizza Man! I forgot that I don't have any cash. How am I going to pay for this?"

"That's OK, miss. We take credit cards and debit cards."

"I will have to consult Lord Belial for payment."

"I mean... what? I have a little Square widget on my phone."

"O Lord Belial, grant me the wealth to pay for this pizza! May it feed my belly and quell my unfathomable hunger!"

"You know what? Pizza is free. I gotta go."

So, uh, getting back to vampire movies to replace Vamp - Near Dark is a good one.

I would love to see Host. Maybe a screening party? Is it on a platform which we can synchronize?

Unfortunately, Host is a Shudder exclusive and most people don't have that.

Near Dark is only streaming on The Criterion Channel, a streaming service I was previously unaware of. The only option beyond that is a hundred dollars on Amazon. This really makes me want to watch this movie more.
