I have finished In Blossom (38 eps), Eternal Brotherhood (24 eps) and The Spirealm (38 eps) Woooo!!!

I am now ready to dive into 2 LONG AWAITED shows: Joy of Life 2 and Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact. I have watched the first 2 of JOL and the first one of FSM.

Dad and I finished the first LoTR extended version movie.

Also I have watched through ep 18 of Delicious in Dungeon or Dungeon Meshi which is a D&D anime that's VERY popular right now (on Netflix). I wasn't impressed with the first 5-6 eps but the plot has really ramped up now hat I'm well into it. All D&D people should give it a whirl!!!

I'm suddenly hearing about Dungeon Meshi from everywhere and everyone. It's an interesting concept.

Reaching back to 6th grade french...........

Dungeon Meshi is a recently made anime about a group of broke adventurers in a very D&D world. Laios' sister Fallon is eatten by a red dragon on a lower level and the party is ejected from the dungeon. They have to get enough money to redo the dungeon to save Fallon from being digested, but they're too broke to afford travel rations so.............. Laios convinces the rest of the party (Marcille the magic using elf and Chilchuk the trap-springing halfling) to eat the monsters they kill on the way down. They also pick up Senshi - a dwarf who's made a point to be a gourmet chef of dungeon monsters.

They do all the usual dungeon killing, dying, resurrecting, world building, an over arching quest, many other races and a couple of other parties. I though the first several eps were..... not great. I thought they spent too much time eating when they are supposed to be on this time sensitive quest but things pick up after a few eps. There are a couple where the "message" was a little heavy handed - but :dunno:

People are saying that Laios and Fallon are on the autistic spectrum. Also there does seem to be something gay going on between Fallon and Marcille and possibly Laios and the other guy from the other party who's name I forgot. There are 22 30min eps on Netflix last I looked.

Dad and I have started Return of the King - I think I have the full 4.5 hour version.

I have finished Fox Spirit Matchmaker: RMP (there are 2 sequels with will be out soon) and Joy of Life S2 both 38 eps.

I have watched the first 2 eps of the Double, through ep 11 of the Princess Royal, through ep 5 of Meet You At the Blossom, through ep 6 of Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty 2 and through ep 4 of Dashing Youth. This is a real juggling match. I should probably not have so many going at the same time... :dunno:

I LOVED Deadpool and Wolverine! Can’t wait to add it to my Fandango at Home.

I’ve also started Shogun. So far, I like it.

Such an interesting fresh take on a lot of the characters. This is created by Bruce Timm who created BTAS and Justice League Unlimited among other shows and movies. It also has the wonderful Christina Ricci as Catwoman.

I finally watched Deadpool and Wolverine and it was indeed awesome! A true love letter to the high points and the low points of Fox Marvel movies.
