Yay! you can save them! Yes, I'm working with Marian Ravenclaw as a name. It's a bit meta, but I kinda like it. Object before the game begins or hold your peace. :)

Steve, you're OK with my starting with 8 level 1 spells? You didn't answer that part.

Sorry! Yeah, that's exactly how I interpret the PB. 3 and 8. There seem to be no restrictions on 1st level spells so go hog wild, I guess.

And about being meta: I've built tons of little references and easter eggs into my world. Some have eroded over time, some might still be obvious, and some have got to be plain as day.

Okay, here's my guy. Say hello to Davan. Don't ask him his family name; it's a touchy subject. He might be "Davan the Walker", or "Davan of the South"...

But yeah, not much artifice about this guy, and that's the way he likes it.

Ah, a full elf? Where's her instrument?

So we have a halfling, a half elf, a human, an elf and I think Jill was going to play a gnome? We're a motley crew!

By the way, I'm thinking one of Marian's fellow students at her recently left Academy probably nicknamed her 'Maid Marian', because she notoriously avoided socializing with the others...
(Yup, loading all the puns and allusions I can up front)

Maybe she's a singer. Or maybe she has the instrument slung across her back.

I am going to be hanging out with a bunch of shrinky-dinks. (Davan is almost a full 2 m tall.)

By the way, the decision was made and y'all are DMing me backstories. I've gotten 3 out of 5 so far. I love what I've read so far!

A number of other resources are here, including some reference sheets and a form-fillable .pdf character sheet.

Also, if you look in the Music forum, I have a link to dramatic music on YT. :yay:

Remember to sign up on Roll20.net as well. I just tested it and I think it's going to work great for showing maps and moving tokens.
